For me, freedom is having the capacity to choose. To be present with family. To explore a place beyond the itinerary. To help without becoming the answer to every question.

From West Oak Lane to England to Mexico, the thread has always been the same: learn, build, and make room for what matters.
It started with a village.
Family, teachers, and neighbors made sure I had people to learn from and opportunities to grow.
A trip that widened my world.
My church raised the money for me to visit Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. That act of generosity changed what I could imagine.
2008–2014
Building across borders.
I helped grow UK operations, develop teams, and build systems. I learned that a business needs more than one capable person holding it together.
Steven's legacy became a mission.
I founded Steven's Wings to help more young people experience the possibilities travel can open.
This is Steven.
My brother was fifteen years older than me. He was also a second father, a Navy veteran, a nurse, and the person who showed up for our family.
He taught me to make scrambled eggs. “All in the wrist,” he would say. He taught me something bigger, too: love is what you do for people.
After losing him in 2017, I wanted his care for others to keep reaching beyond our family.
Steven's Wings is that promise in motion. We are building opportunities for young people to explore the world and see more possibilities for their lives.
